The joys and benefits of pet ownership are numerous. In most cases, pets are considered members of the family. Caring for our pets is an important responsibility.

We have developed our pet care section to provide you with the information to help you better understand your pet’s needs. This information will help to ensure that your pet is a healthy and happy member of your family.

We cover many aspects of pet care including puppy and kitten care, heartworm prevention, flea control, vaccinations, desexing and microchipping. We also discuss dietary needs, dental care, senior pet care and some of the more common household toxin for pets.

Here at High Street Road Animal Hospital, we place great importance on pro-active healthcare for seniors. With this in mind, we started the Golden Paws Club.
The Golden paws club is a specially designed package for older pets. Membership involves:
6 monthly health checks, including full clinical examination.

Yearly blood profile and six monthly urine tests for earlier diagnosis and treatment of potential problems. Read more...
