Practice Principals:

Dr Richard Benton

Richard graduated from Melbourne University in 1980. He has been a principal here at the Hospital since 1989. His special interests include orthopaedic and general surgery. Richard regularly attends national conferences to continue to update his veterinary knowledge.


Dr Rachel Dalsanto

Rachel graduated from Melbourne University in 1993. She has been a principal here at the hospital since 1999. Rachel has completed her certificate in practice management and also completed her Masters in Veterinary medicine and surgery. Rachel’s special interests include radiology and medicine.

ASSOCIATE VETERINARIANS

Dr Kate Dickson

Kate joined our team in October 2007. She graduated from Queensland University in 2003 and then spent 3 1/2 years working in mixed practice in rural South Australia as well as six months working in the UK. Her interests include small animal medicine and dentistry.

  

Dr Nick Hunton

Nick joined our team in April 2008. Nick graduated from Melbourne University in 1993. He has worked in two busy small animal practices in Melbourne for extended lengths of time before starting here with us. He has developed a keen interest in small animal surgery. Outside of work, Nick enjoys an increasing obsession with golf. He lives with his beloved dog Ari and his loyal ginger cat Mikey.
